A GLOBAL MONITOR FOR UNIVERSITY-BUSINESS COOPERATION AND UNIVERSITY ENGAGEMENT

The Global University-Business Monitor and the Global University-Engagement Monitor are global studies that aim to provide a clear picture of the state of university-business cooperation (UBC) and university engagement around the globe.

GENERATING INTELLIGENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

The monitor is an initiative which assembles quantitative evidence, through two surveys addressing (i) higher education institutions and (ii) businesses, and qualitative evidence through a set of international good practice case studies. This intelligence will inform about the extent of collaboration in each nation as well as the factors inhibiting it, driving it and supporting it.

BY LEADING EXPERTS AND SCHOLARS

The initiative involves the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre, the Entrepreneurship & Commercialisation and Innovation Centre at Adelaide University and the University Industry Innovation Network as primary partners and international agencies such as the OECD and the European Commission, in close collaboration with the initiative’s advisory board, who are highly-regarded industry experts and highly-cited scholars in the area.

RESULTING IN THOUGHT-LEADERSHIP AND A GLOBAL UBC COMMUNITY

The results of the survey will be published in a global report as well as a set of over 40 different national reports benchmarking, a set of international good practice cases studies, specific topic publications and bring stakeholders together through a range of events.
